The real innovation that 3D metal printing allows is only going to be developed as we utilise new approaches to designing. A3D needs to be aligning themselves with those that are seeking and delivering step change in design within the componentry and material science world.
Still a long way to go to unlock the value, but little steps are keeping me positive.
