Anyway - back on topic this North Arunta research project between various companies and state governments and universities is a recognition that the North Arunta area is poorly understood, and possibly has the geology that could potentially host large Li deposits. Fairly academic in nature but a long-term project that will help companies figure out the geology and direct them to the exploration techniques that might be most successful. It makes sense for companies to collaborate on this as it's a very remote and early-stage exploration frontier, so there is no point in duplicating and hoarding effort/intellectual property and research material individually at this stage.
