In the CDH thread I mentioned another crypto game based on Ethereum, with a world championships tournament pool of $400,000. You've found it
I am heavily invested in Gods Unchained as I believe it will compete with leading digital card game Hearthstone (Blizzard), with the key difference of course being ownership of the assets. And in the above link you can see a great example of interoperability.
If you are new to crypto or more specifically, the idea of NFT and the opportunities for cross-game integration thanks to blockchain, have a read of the article.
Just a really simple example using Kabam. If their flagship game Marvel Contest of Champions was on blockchain, and Blizzard decided to do something with World of Warcraft (WoW) in the same space, you could in theory allow the heroes you owned to transport into WoW as "skins" or even real characters.
Without blockchain, developers from both companies would have to work with each other to come up with an integration module to verify and link your Marvel and WoW accounts to see what heroes and items you own. With blockchain, this isn't required because it's all public. You would login to WoW, link your Ethereum address and bang, the game can verify all your assets.
Suppose you were always 50/50 about playing WoW but a mad Marvel player. Now you have a mega incentive to play.
Increasing your exposure to a new audience, works for both sides.
Make sense?
