I listened to a Clayton Williams Coy meeting several months ago. Their drilling program is so full the Chairman himself has said he will be well dead and buried before they finish the current order book. Their was no mention of GOM but more about their shale prospects. You wouldnt imagine that a Coy in that situation would persist with pithy sites like Abita if their wasnt a big payoff somewhere in the not too distant future.
The location of Abita however means it has to be tread very carefully. I applaud that.
