Cookie must see something other than I do in Nifty. To me it just looks like a pile of manure. The only thing I can think of is he is buying counter cyclical in Cu. It certainly rounds out his multi metal suite. Personally I follow Kate's view and would look to Warran Hallam to maintain focus.
