Hi Fiend, I must admit I dipped my toe in today, as even though I am still not happy with many aspects of the company, the simple fact is they have a lot of gold, are going to produce it and make money due to the high AUD gold price. The extra $75m that will be added to MLX balance sheet in coming months will also help (from ABY). The ABY quarterly was about what I expectedm hence I have my initial holding.
I think the quicker they split the company the better. The gold company will easily be worth doubt the companies current MC.
If they keep making acquisitions after ABY, then I will sell.
