That was a metaphor btw. Expected a bit of foreplay before someone hits me up for the money shot is all... another metaphor before you get too excited haha. The problem is, too few find the markets, economics and politics (which is rapidly subsuming the markets and economics) as interesting as I do.

To be honest, I play much better in defence than attack, I'd make a terrible sugar daddy. Defence simply requires checking the facts against predictions with the benefit of enough experience to know what you're looking at. Scoring goals in speculative stocks requires an entirely different mindset, including the ability to chase hot stocks in hot sectors well beyond sensible pricing. Of course, you can't beat tips from someone with knowledge of what's really going on inside the company...
