They started redesign in Nov 18 ( so became aware of problems prior to that) and it has taken 7 months to rerelease. The issue of strength and if they were watertight and seals was said here very early on. They will have had some component stock so will that be a write off as well. Redesign still is not complete with new polymer and new designs but still the cover ( metal) option to be done. This has had much longer lead times that I initially guessed . I am not clear why and if it is certification or other issues ? It is worth finding out as speed to market is so important and with the biggest resource sucker being wages having staff costs and no product on shelves for a sector is not good and can't be repeated.

So costs of restock and redistribution and relaunch into marketplace?
