I wouldn't like to be holding a few trillion US $$$$$$$$$$$ when it all hits the fan.
China says it cannot be bought or sold with the US dollar they have enough of that rubbish.
They have worked towards this since the early 1970's when US treasurer John Connally ended the US$,s convertibility into gold. It has now come back to bite them hard. Looks good for gold prices but bad, bad, bad, for the US and to a large extent the rest of us. my 2c
