Reiner if you think it might be TAM, they held around 89mill.
The stock has turned over just under 120mill shares since it turned down from the high early this month.
Whoever the seller is, they may have started selling just as it turned down or even before i.e. it may have turned over more than 120mill when this seller began selling. If it was someone with around 90 mill shares to sell, like TAM, it’s possible they have sold most already. Difficult to know how much has been churned by other holders though.
If it is Tam, their announcement yesterday shows why someone selling ABU might be doing it for reasons completely unrelated to their investment view or expectations about ABU suggesting we should not feel the need to sell just because a significant holder decides to sell. Having said that, I have no reason to conclude that TAM is the seller but a similar non ABU specific reason for selling might also apply to any other seller.
