You obviously don't have the full picture here about ABX. Agree with LP that you should do some more research on ABX and go back as far as 5 to 10 years reading the same stuff and you too will get the lightbulb moment. Oh I now understand ! I really was uninformed !

Of course Australian companies still make bauxite sales to China and other countries ! Well the efficient companies do thats for sure.

As for the rare earths ABX has negligible grades located in a very very small area. Do they seriously think they have a genuinely commercial deposit ? If so why did they not publish an informative update to shareholders to better sell their cap raise ? Did you read the notes attached to the cap raising offer ?

If you look into the company further, you will also notice a real problem (or is it reluctance) to make sales. I would welcome clarification from the board or management as to why this is the case.

At one stage ABX actually sold some of their bauxite ! To a cement company but at least it was a sale and it gave us poor shareholders a tiny ray of hope. The shareholders could hardly contain their excitement OMG could this be the start of ongoing sales not just every few years but maybe 12 months maybe every 6 or 3 months. Could this become a profitable efficient company ? Could our share price increase ? Could we even get a small dividend ?
