For me particularly getting my shares from the shortfall rather than buying them a cent less from the market was the cheaper option due to broker's expenses (they were nil in the 1st case). I got many shares from the shortfall, many more than my 'original' ones because 1st I feel BSX has bottomed around here as the value of its assets are much bigger than current cap and 2nd I wanted to support at this critical stage. That doesn't mean my patience is limitless.
