    I was under impression - emergency rate cuts leads to decreased US dollar which leads to increased gold price (interest rate directly correlated to dollar value & dollar value inversely correlated to precious metals like gold/silver. Which means interest rate inversely correlated to precious metals).
    Plus if US decrease interest rate it means recession fear which can them be good for gold & bonds.
