if they dont win they still piss away millions in legal fees and have the board distracted
short of outright criminal behaviour this is a circle jerk for lawyers preying on disgruntled shareholders.
my understanding of the related transactions is while not a good look, if not to those parties the funds would have gone to another firm. In any business there is an element of paying people you trust and know can do the job you want.
as for the material nature of it, i dont think the cost is large in the scheme of minres so can strongly argue the information wasnt pertinent and they followed all processes at the time to award contracts which they admit were lacking.
any outcome here, the only people that lose are us.
