Well that was unexpected and unfortunate in some ways as this was an investment I felt had significant potential long term. Frankly I think i'd rather have held onto the company rather than sell at this early stage however given the short term thinking of Australian investors and fund managers I have no doubt that this deal will go through.

I can't remember where I read it but I believe some of their recent hires were from Oracle so I guess this is where the word got back to Oracle as to what Aconex were doing and the value within the company.
