I just reviewed the striking.io teaser web page and super pumped by what I saw in regards to the format design!
If it is done well, basically the Company is structuring a competitive Fantasy Football type of league where players can compete with each other based on the performance of the team member player cardsthey have collected!
So now they own a digital collectible trading card that can be traded , I guess sold and used in a competitive style game!
If done well, this could be a very addictive gaming formula that can be formatted to other sports venues. I believe the MotoGP will use this format, perhaps the MLB deal with Lucid Sight, and what really caught my eye is that they show a couple of shots of basketball players on the site!
They bought Quidd and have the NBA license and Dapper Labs also announced the NBA licensing deal!! (They haven’t announced a deal with Animoca for this NBA deal yet, so not sure about their possible partnership)
