I would actually say this a well structured deal.
The vendor is effectively getting only 31m shares upfront, potentially another 94m in 2 tranches but highly conditional upon defining a JORC and commercialisation success.
This is the first report card for Rob Scott and I will give him a 8 out of 10. Certainly a savvy dealmaker after all the years of experience sitting on SFR board.
In hindsight, Africa is not too bad after all. SFR just recently announced the acquisition of MOD Resource for $167m , which equates to 22cents for CCZ on a fully diluted basis.
