The reporting on G8's contracted acquisitions and settlements has never been straight forward. Partial completions, some delays and lacking detail IMO.
Decided to have a quick look and reconcile centres contracted, centres settled, centres sold and licensed places. Not as straight forward as I anticipated it should be. For instance on the 11/11/2013 asx announcement, in relation to settlement, states "the acquisition was originally announced to the asx on 26 August and 27 September 2013". However, there were no contracted acquisitions reported to the asx during August 2013. Also, noteworthy is the fact that as of 8.15pm tonight today's announcement, regarding settlement has not yet been published on G8's investor website.
Happy to continue with my reconciliation and even happier to be proved wrong.
