A press release and updated web site and a interview are two different things. An article by a reputable publisher would require CEO to sit down for the interviews just like a interview with one of the big banks. A straight forward update of web site and posting of announcements on your company site does not require CEO involvement.
Honestly my messages are pretty clear for those who understand business and how companies work from a exec level.
