The reason that real patience is required with a stock like JAT is because it is impossible to predict what/when/why the SP will appreciate. JAT seems to be a particularly confusing beast in this respect. Who knows, the market may wake up when it's least expected and no news has been provided.
This is why I am focusing my attention purely on the business news and not on the SP henceforth.
I can't predict what/when/why with the SP but with each announcement you can start to predict what/when/why of the business' vision, potential revenue figures, profit margins, products etc.
I'm holding JAT until the news and developments coming out of the business is no longer bullish and I expect the SP to at some stage catch up with where I believe the business should be valued (who knows when!!)
On a side note, keep in mind that today is one of the worst days the market has had in a while - ASX down 2.5% and red across the board so closing flat is a good result.
