How long is a piece of string.. our market cap is $8mil and targeting circa ~120million boe (yet to be confirmed by independent estimate, due June/July). Comparatively 88E’s Merlin-1 well / project Peregrine had an independently assessed 1.6 billion boe and their market cap topped at close to $1billion in the drilling hype.
We’re still early in the process, largely with administrative dots to join, which is why things may appear dormant - after the resource estimate and project timeline is established (within the next month or two) I’d expect that to change rather quickly.
Private equity firm Skye Ventures (holding the majority 80% of the target) is an experienced outfit, of which one of our directors (Joseph Graham) is a joint founder. Our directions have a lot of skin in the game so a success for shareholders will mean a success for them also - a reassuring concept that many of the micro cap companies do not have.
