AQZ have used the five F50's to operate the BHP contract flying between Adelaide and Olympic Dam. With the upgrade of the OLP airport due for completion early in 2021, these services will transition to the F100 - see ASX release dated 22 October 2020.

Apart from possibly from regional routes on behalf of Virgin, these aircraft don't have an obvious use to AQZ so no surprise they will be phased out. Assume they will have little or no remaining book value and no doubt come with a hefty maintenance bill to keep them in the air. Flying only on one route has probably meant it has been feasible to keep them flying due to having spare parts close by, skilled technical staff on hand and a spare aircraft hanging about on any given day, Start spreading the aircraft about on a greater number of routes and that all becomes a fair bit harder to keep the reliability up to the required levels. With the low capital cost of the second-hand E190's, the F50's are unlikely to have any cost advantage.
