It would have been only a couple of weeks ago that the online version of ' The Australian ' was running an article on Amazon's entry to Australia and whether they would set up in Sydney or Melbourne.
Of more interest though, the article stated that Amazon's business model could potentially put many large retailers out of business.
Those businesses that do not use machine learning and other techniques to target their customers and potential customers, may need to adopt these strategies - and in a big hurry.
I think the article also stated Amazon was the fastest company in history to get to a one Billion dollar per year turnover.
