Brokers? Please....some of us have been in this game long enough to know how to weigh sell side analysts.

I once spoke to the Head of Research at one of the biggest brokerage firms in the world. He said to me, "I respect analysts/PMs who have survived on the buy side and stayed in one company for 10 years. In the sell side, people make bad calls, change jobs, change firms, play politics, do other things to survive...in the buy side, if you underperform, you get sacked. So, for an analyst/PM to be able to hold a job for 10 years, that's very impressive."
