I wonder how many people realise that DGL will be close to reporting record, I repeat, record PBT (Profit Before Tax, which is after D&A and elevated interest expense).
Previous high for PBT was in 2H FY2023 at $16.233 million.
2H FY2024 PBT should be ~$15.9 million.
With the water treatment plant commencing, and the additional 40,000sqm of warehouse space coming online, on top of improvements in other segments, 1H FY2025 PBT is extremely likely to set a new record high. My crude estimate is $19.05 million for the half. This is organic performance, excluding acquisitions. Cash acquisitions may increase PBT further.
(2H is seasonally stronger, so I can't wait for 2H FY 2025)
