i posted a comment on 15/12/2008 ( this does not make me a hero )but it goes to the heart of the problem, despite the lack of disclosure etc etc the bloody silly bank has not got any money ! We are just starting to get down to tin tacks in this whole situation . This is why the gov. guaranteed deposits, because they got a wink from the US treasury about our banks. so the last couple of days the banks are scampering around looking for funds. (and making a right royal mess of it),lets give some bank cfo/ceo s a lie detector test.
