Personally I'm not happy with the overs we paid for the acquisitions and only 50%. PV got a great deal for only a small number of tenements he was willing to give us. The market deteriorated straight after the acquisition announcement.
These tenements are only a few blocks large, not enough to build a minesite on given we find a resource.
Look at the amount of tenements AUZ scooped up in Brazil for next to nothing recently.
SI6 have nothing like the tenement sizes we have in Australia. I'm optimistic but given the tiny tenements we'll be lucky to jag anything of serious potential and if we do odds are they'll probably run outside the tenement too, which we don't own a part of.
I think if PV was thinking of it being an easy money maker for SI6 think again. If I was him I'd do the right thing and farm in several more tenements into the 50/50 JV for free.
Market has currently spoken, people have shrugged their shoulders, until more is known.
Unless something exceptional changes or amazing results come from Botswana I can't see the SP doing much for a while. Also we have little money left expect another CR soon, Jeez.
C'mon SI6 do something to blow the market away, this ain't it.
