Hoo-boy.
Given that this scale of transaction will barely move the dial, I'm thinking that the effort-to-reward ratio is not low.
I wonder how much of the company's resources were utilised for this transaction. Wouldn't have to be very much at all before the implied return on management time becomes a pretty poor number.
I'm not a top-20 shareholder in SEQ but when deals that get done are meaningfully smaller than my relatively shareholding then it feels to me like that mere tinkering is going on.
