There is no chance they sell 20% of Blackwater for at least US$1.5b. That would be equivalent to at least US$7.5b for 100% of Blackwater.
Two reasons why:
1. WHC has a market cap of AU$6b. Why wouldn't the bidders just go for the whole company and get the NSW mines and Daunia mine for free?
2. WHC is paying US$3.2b to US$4.1b for 100% of Blackwater and Daunia. The buyers may be generous but that aren't insane.
There is no chance they sell 20% of Blackwater for at least...
