4MW per year (8,760hrs) = 35,040MWh. The plant may only operate 30, 50 or 80% of the time, so apply an operating (availability) factor. At the assumed $0.10kWh (=$100MWh) and 80% availability, a 4MW plant could generate gross revenue of $2.8million/yr. This is revenue.

The price is more than double the wholesale tariff, however lower than what most customers would pay, so may or may not be a suitable price. Such a plant could have operating costs of $0.5 - $2.5m/yr, so hard to make head or tail of it.

    Hope the calculations assist.

Best of luck to all holders, it has got to get better at some point right?
