Couldn't agree more with you Georisk. Takeover of IDX is lunacy. Yesterday's announcement of new clinics and Tassie takeover reads well and my hunch will be a very good fit.
My prediction is as follows:
1) If IDX takeover flops, CAJ will be a strong buy at current price.
2) If IDX takeover succeeds (unlikely), then we will be in for a bumpy ride and hopefully current management integrate all these purchases successfully (difficult task).
3) If CAJ increase their offer to IDX shareholders and takeover succeeds, then this will be a disaster. I'll immediately dumping my CAJ shares at any old price. CAJ shareholders will have every right to be furious with current management!
