Smart bulbs will never be 100% of the market. While selling 1.8m bulbs is a great result, in the scheme of things it is nothing. According to my reading there are 8b light bulbs globally, so a huge potential market provided it makes sense to spend 00s of $$ buying these new smart bulbs. Time will tell

Big if? But I'd say you'd have to do the same thing as if any appliance in your house blew from a power surge. Some may even blame buddy for the power surge
