I'd definitely say there has to be a novelty factor in domestic market. LIFX seems to have a decent market share in a short time. Seems to be a company constantly innovating. It's tech/chip looks promising.
But best of all is it's white bulb. That was the 3rd review calling it no. 1 I've seen, so I posted the other day, saying LIFX white is best on the market is a big deal in the commercial world, yes expensive but long life span.
An office building or hotel are going to want white bulbs, though a hotel foyer/lobby, function room, bar and restaurant may want coloured bulbs.
Regarding innovation, I think the next big novelty will be LIFX lights working with television, lights changing in contrast to picture colour and sounds.
Without news of the elusive Ohm whale, I think it's going to be LIFX news that will help the SP. Once acquisition is stamped of course.
AIMO.
