No one would spend this amount of money. When you renovate a home, which I have done twice, you look for ways to cut costs not increase. Light fittings when renovating and expensive enough with out $100 lighbulbs that change colours, when a $10 energy saving bulbs is just as good. If you can afford to spend this much money on lighbulbs, you would hardly be concerned about your quarterly energy bill. IMO
