depends on the age of the owners. If they are looking to retire in the next 5 years or so it might be a good opportunity. It’s not that easy to sell a business at a decent price so if the right offer comes up you take it. This gives them the cash, gets rid of the stress of owning it and funding it and they can continue to work in it until they are ready to retire.
