re: Ann: RUM: Acquisition of Minority JV Inte... Well at least my embarrassing maths prompted some intelligent debate. Luke and Bumby, I think that it is possible that both of you are right. Luke is expressing a takeover price with the value of the resource in the ground and Bumby the value of a working mine with dividends.

This is a debate which comes up from time to time on the thread. Some posters (Panda) look forward to the dividends, others like me wish BHP would take us over tomorrow at a premium. No right or wrong just a matter of where you are in your own investment cycle.
