re: Ann: RUM: Acquisition of Minority JV Inte... Pagarsi/Luke
Any ideas what percent increase to bottom-line profit would interest a BHP or Rio?

If I assume they both earn $5 billion a year in profit and LD would earn them $120 profit per ton. Then, LD's annual production would need to be the following:

    % Increase = Annual Production
    3% = 1,250,000
    5% = 2,083,333
    10% = 4,166,667

If the new lakes prove up a large resource then the production numbers above are possible. Further, if I assume a 50 year mine life then multiplying production by 50 requires a resource size of:

    % Increase = Resource Size
    3% = 62,500,000
    5% = 104,166,667
    10% = 208,333,333

Note: I'm just speculating with these numbers
