Have worked on Metso plant , it is ok for mobile crushing aggregate in road constructionif you have plenty of consumables , it is very lightly built , and not designed for continuous operation , plus to work on is absolutely horrible as there is no room to work on best to have plant that is built separately ie separate motor and generator that powers grizzly hopper fed by reciprocating feeder , that feeds by conveyor to primary jaw crusher that then feeds a secondary crusher , also redundancy can be built in and parts easily sourced from manufacturer directly from South Africa .
Also they are working with Galena (lead ) which is highly toxic , , easy to wash down a plant that is in separate components and have inbuilt catchment pits , very difficult to wash down prior to turning wrenches on a mobile plant .
To me this was a very poor decision
I doubt if an experienced mine engineer was behind this purchase decision or if health and safety were looked at in detail .

As an aside is the Pb being shipped in sealed containers ?
