We have the the mill,and we are proving up the resource,not forgetting there is a stockpile of it ready to move on.Unlike tin (unless it is a hard rock resource....and Mt Garnett?...thats another story for another day))it requires big money to extract it...ie underground mining...so unlike tin...artisan mining...illegal mining...ie Indonesia...Myanmar opening up...alluvial tin mining so cheap being directly exported to China bypassing LME and therefore distorting the market...investors seeing low stocks at the LME.. leading investors to plough their money into tin stocks,thinking the price was going to explode at any time...only to have if the price rise did occur the restart of alluvial mining that had become marginal ..or the secret shipments leaving Indonesia again...possibly because some Indonesian general saw a corrupt buck in it...and tin substitution or recycling occuring at the higher prices.

We are all wiser after the event and even now it is to be hoped that the rise in the price of zinc,copper and lead is sustainable because as we have all found out...an expensive mill and 50+ employees becomes a very expensive exercise when losses are being made...and then it becomes a management call as to hope the the price recovers,thus incurring further losses...or limiting the loss that occurs by putting it into care and maintenance ...so watch the cycle carefully...and lets hope we can recover some of the money that we have lost.
