I suspect there is lingering distrust of ASH - make no bones about it, many investors got barbequed to ASHes. Ash is still a turnaround story and key players remain from that darker past.
My frustration is that Ash is not presenting a clear vision and recent purchases seem to be somewhat piecemeal. Yeah sure, they're infrastructurally based and what? Where are the synergies etc? Hopefully, we get a clear articulation of the way forward soon.
Like pCap, I think Ash presents a solid buy at the moment - and as good a dividend yield as you're likely to get anywhere.
