My guess is that this has a political component to it. Zane is worthy of a seat on the Kava Council, and now owning a processing plant and land under freehold plus everything else they do in Fiji makes that succession so much easier. Plus, other benefits that come about of owning Fijian infrastructure. Anthony would be all over this, I am confident of that!
Although subject to finance, I doubt that management have not sourced financing or at least have a line of enquiry. If I were to guess it will be with BSP Life, I believe we still have that $2m FJD Convertible Note still active with them, at least I should say I can't remember it ever being activated.
The stars must have aligned for this deal to come about; I believe it is a very positive one. One that says, we are here for the long haul now.
