I have zero idea what the price will do today. But more importantly, this is an interesting acquisition and different to what i would have expected. My first point is how surprised I am that it took this long. This is a VERY good thing. At last year's AGM they were quite clear that they would grow by acquisition and even then it was evident they had targets in mind. Here we are a year later and they've announced their first one. I love that. I am sick of companies rushing out and blowing cash on dead beat companies. They have been VERY disciplined and patient and I know for a fact that they have looked at a lot of stuff. In terms of the business they're acquiring, it is interesting that it is a good fit with the existing Apply Direct business. I had wondered if they would shift the emphasis AWAY from that existing business but clearly they see it has a future. Again I regard that as a good thing. I need to dig a bit to determine where that $1 million purchase price/cash will come from ... and also the tranche 2 shares if benchmarks are hit - I need to understand the possible commitment here. But I rest easy knowing that the directors will have done their DD on this acquisition BIG time. I have zero idea how the SP will respond but this is good day for AD1 shareholders
