I think the question should be who else would be bothered to pick up that debt. It also goes to show that the AFR story of two companies offering $60 million was unlikely, and is it fair to say absolutely not going to happen now?

So where does this leave Thursday 7pm?

In my mind there is no point in offering an extension, nor negotiating when as I said I don't see A40 having a customer.

They obviously need to prove that A40 can pay down the debt and run the company profitably, which I don't see happening.

As @Facthunter pointed too, they might as well put the keys on the table and turn off the lights. Unless there is something else?

It's like playing chess and knowing that the bishop cannot move left and right, only diagonal.

If we don't have an answer by Thursday then it shouldn't be much longer after.

I have a few ideas of what A40 could do, but then perhaps given the strength of the players opposite.

What will be will be, and maybe the market will wake up to what the inevitable will be.
