JAT is building a FMCG business and to that end must offer a range of products which people are likely to need and want to buy. Food products are generally the safest bet in that regard.

It must also have the ability to fulfil any product orders ahead of the competition so acquiring a business that's already operating in that space and supplying to customers is a sound way of ensuring that.

Do not underestimate the size of the Chinese market and its growing appetite for quality products.
