Strickland Metals Ltd (ASX: STK) incoming MD Paul L’Herpiniere speaks with JustStocks Video about the major acquisition of the Rogozna Gold Project in Serbia. It has a JORC resource totalling 5.44 million ounces gold equivalent. L’Herpiniere says there is further large exploration potential. This includes resource expansion opportunities with numerous high quality targets yet to be drilled. Drilling is set to get underway immediately once the deal is completed with 60,000 metres of diamond drilling planned.Importantly, L’Herpiniere points to global miners with significant Serbian mining projects, including BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, Vale, Zijin Mining, Kinross Gold, and Dundee Precious Metals.
Strickland is well-funded to advance exploration at Rogozna with cash and holding Northern Star Resources Ltd (ASX: NST) script worth about $54m at the end of the December quarter.
