makes sense to combine VDL and BAL at some stage. As i understand it BAL dont have any of their own milk supply, only having entered into a supply agreement with Bega's Tatura Milk subsidiary in July 2015 (mainland milk ?). Not sure if that is exclusive and prevents BAL going elsewhere (ie. VDL). Would seem to make sense to have Tasi milk processed in Tasi into high margin banded products and thus leverage the Tasi story (clean, green etc). I gather existing VDL milk goes to Fonterra ? (prev. Bonlac) but not sure.
