Further review of Instagram photos through the Summer of 2018 and into 2019 show a picturesque blue pit. There appears to be little change in water colour or clarity/ cloudiness one would expect of a pit being drained and 40t worth of rock and Quartz being blown up within and then refilled. Further review of the tourist photos show no sign of any current mining activity, vehicles or buildings.

That raises an odd question: How does a company manage a mine that experiences a good volume of tourist every year from cruise ships?
