Hypothetical question: Why did no blasting happen in 2018 if planned? Did they miss a small detail yet expensive hurdle that they could not overcome in short notice due to location and budget? (I am assuming no work took place in 2018)

The previous mob planned to drain, blast and test the Quartz...

Where did those three piles of tailings go? I doubt they shipped them out. I highly doubt the drove them out. And zinc and lead pollution has been dropping since the 1980's when measurements started.

My hypothesis is that site remediation took place and the tailings went into the pit and prevented previous planned testing as they did not plan on having to remove the tailings first and quietly abandoned the project.

    Negatives:

More work and cost to run tailings
Must run tailings before testing the Quartz crystal floor.

    Positives:

Low prices for 40 years prevented anyone taking the cherry off this cake and tasting the cream.
