The Motheo resource is 49.6mt at a grade of 0.96% and the NRX Witvlei resource is 10mt at 1.3%, probably a lot of variables but the cost of producing a tonne of copper in 2022 was anywhere between $4k - $6k pt. If for instance the copper price goes to let’s just say $12,000 US imo it’s worth multiples of our current MC already. Goldman Sachs was ridiculed and hated by just about everybody investing in lithium and was laughed at with its price predictions of lithium but low and behold they have just about nailed it exactly right, GS and Fitch are saying there will be a copper deficit in 2024 and are calling $15,000 pt in 2025. Personally I can’t stand GS with the manipulation they orchestrate along with others in the markets but for once I hope they are right.
