I know .... I have read the Annual Report and ASX announcements re vesting of ‘performance rights’.
Like a number of companies, they are great at granting themselves performance rights, and then they or their mates on the bod have sufficient voting clout to give themselves almost ‘carte blanche’ when it comes to doling out ‘bonuses etc’ to themselves.
True, an exec or / director cant vote on something for which they are a direct beneficiary, but do they ever vote against something ‘for their mates’? Usually never..... that would upset the cosy applecart!
